Halloween Disco

Wednesday 22nd October 5.30-7.00pm is ‘Halloween Disco 2008’. Tickets are £1 and on sale before and after school. Bring along your pocket money for yucky dip, coconut skulls, face painting and more. And of course, wear your creepiest, most ghoulish, and most frightening outfits. Prizes for most original.

Jeans 4 Genes

Jeans for Genes is a charity, which does research into genetic disorders. Last year we raised over £140 for the charity by having a ‘wearing jeans or denim to school day’. We would like to do the same this year on Friday October 24th and ask all children to make a minimum £1 contribution (staff included). Mr Baker is doing a series of assemblies explaining the work of the charity.

Hertford Helping Hands

Hertford Helping Hands gathers every Friday from 8.45am in the After School Club Room and is open to all parents and carers interested in meeting each other and helping with school events and activities. Tea, coffee & biscuits provided. All welcome and particularly parents of Y3 children.

Harvest Assembly

On the subject of all things eco, we had a harvest assembly with a difference this week, because all the food on display was harvested from our forest garden. There was pumpkins, squash, onions, potatoes, garlic, rosemary, lettuce & even a few carrots. Thanks to eco club, Stephan & Ms Broad for all their hard work. We plan to make a really huge pumpkin soup for the Halloween Disco. Yummy!
